Long-standing Outsiders contributor Sage Vaughn is one of our best-loved artists. His collaboration with photographer Mike Muller, 'Opposing Instincts', was one of the most popular Outsiders exhibitions of 2011.
Hollywood portrait photographer Mike is also considered the best underwater lens man above or below the seven seas. In their collaborations, Sage paints in his signature style over Mike's stunning photographs of great white sharks. Sage's winsome wildlife and Mike's easily-admired apex predators collide in a spectacular symbiotic relationship.
Any original works on sale here combine a C-type photographic print and acrylic inks. The varied edition uses a screen printed reproduction of Mike's photography with Sage's contribution hand-painted by the artist himself.
